GOAL SETTING
Important to set goals. Guides you where you need to go.
Goal should be very specific and not vague Should have short, medium and long term
goal Goals are always ever adjusting
DISAPPOINTMENTS
Broke my arm when I was 15 years old Commonwealth Games 2006 Car crash in 2007 Season of 2010
HOW TO DEAL WITH DISAPPOINTMENT?
Everyone faces some form of disappointment in their career.
It is how you bounce back from the disappointment that defines you as an athlete and as a person.
My method - stay positive (sometimes harder to do), prepare, be flexible
COMMONWEALTH GAMES
WHAT IS SUCCESS?
Success is different for each individual It doesn’t mean that you have to have won the
competition to be successful It is as important to enjoy the journey of becoming
successful.
