(C) Remove the two #3 ciip pinsand 1/z" x 1%" pins from rear of sub-frame and lower sub-f rame to ground. (D) Slide sub, frame from under tractor andstore in bucket untii needed.
IMPORTANT: Return all clip pins and pins to proper holes onloader tor storage.
NOTE: When in storage the front mount should be placed wherethe pump will stay free of dirt and moisture,
Store your loader in dry/cleai area.
To mount loader on tractor, reverse the directions for removal.
With a iittle practice it should not take more than '10 rninutes forone person to remove or replace loader.

CAUTION: Always lower the loader to the groundand shut off engine betore adjusting or making re-
', g / pairs on your roader. \, il\,\V' Danraqe to the tractor frame and the loader ma'/occur if you try to handle loads more than 400 lbs.
3
Read the Owners Manual. Only allow persons who kncw thesafety rules to use lhe loader.
Do not allow children to use your loader.
Check your loader over before each tirne you Lrse the loader.'Iighten any loose bolts, nuts, etc.

Place P.T.O. switch in "OFF" position before starting the en-gine.
Run engine at about % throttle. This will give you enough hy-draulic power,
Operale tractor with loader at slow grourrd speed. This is veryimportant while traveling over rough ground.
Keep bucket as low as possible while carr.;ing a load to placecarried too high while nroving, tractor may tip over causrrrgrrjurv.
lf material is being loaded into a truck or dumped in a pile, keep bucket lowwhile carrying the load, When next to thetruck or pile, raise the bucket and move tractor forward asneeded before dumping. After dumping, back away fromtruck or pile and lower bucket before returning for anotherload.
Operate tractor with loader on ievel ground when loading oroiiing material.
Avoid quick, fast turns, lf you need to turn tractor with loaderraised, use extreme care to prevent tractor from t pp ng over.
To sa{ely handle a load of 400 lbs. ballast mus{ be added tothe r€ar of the traclor. This must be done in one of the follow-ing ways:
a. Mount a weight box to rear of tractor and place four wheelweights in the box or fill the weight box with sand. Theweight box ano wheel weights can be purchased at anySears Store.
b. Add 125 lbs. to each rear wheel. This is besr achieved byadding tubes to the rear tires and filling each tire with asolution of water and calcium chloride.
c. Add two wheel weights to each rear wheei, The wheelweights can be purchased at any Sears Store.
To inerease traction, tire chains are recommended for the rear1ires.

OPERATIruGEFSSTRUGTNOruSMain lif t eylinders snd buck0t cylinders 6re double acting typeiboth push and puil under hyCraulic power). This means that theloader can be forced down as weilas up. lt means that the bucketcan be tilted down or up with hydraulic pressure.
HYDRAULIC COI{TROL VALVE
Your loader control valve has two handles. The left hand handleoperates the lift cylinders (the loader) and has the float position.1-he right hand handle operates the bucket cyiinders. Bothhandles will return to neutral except from float position whenreleased.
HANDLE USE * SEE FIG. B
BUCKET
POSITION A R. H. handle pushed for,,vard, bucker wrll dump.
PAGE FOUR
POSITION B Neutral position
POSITION C R. H. handle pulled back, bucket will pull back
LOADER
POSITION A Left handte pushed all the way forward (this isfloar position). Handle will sray untii pulled back.
POSITION B L. H. handle pushed half way forward, bucketwill lower.
POSITION C Neutral positron,
POSITION D L. H. handle putted back, bucker wiil raise.
In float position there is no hydraulic fluid going to the lift cyljn-ders. if the loader frame is up off the ground, it will lower to theground by gravity. When the bucket is on the ground {and thevalve is still in floar) the bucket will follow rhe shape of the groundeven when the tractor is moving. This allows hydraulic oil to flowback and forth in hydraulic system as loader js raised and loweredby ground contour.
CAUTION: Do nor allow bucket lip to oig inro ground whentractor is moving forward with handle in float. Thebucket botlom should be level with the ground orslichtly rolled back.
The float position is most commonly used wjth attachments insnow renroval. Wrth srnall garden tractor loaders, tractor shouldbe run at slow ground speed and the lift and bucket cylinders usedto work material loose and fill the bucket.
