Outside The Parish Events NATIONAL NIGHT OF PRAYER FOR LIFE

The 25th Annual National Night of Prayer for Life will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Salem on Monday, December 8th from 9 pm to 1 am. This is a prayer vigil consisting of exposition and adoration to the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary, scripture reading and meditation. It takes place each year beginning at 9 pm on December 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and ending on December 9, the feast of St. Juan Diego, at 1 am. It was on this feast that Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas, and the unborn, first appeared to St. Juan Diego in Mexico. More than 700 parishes across the US join in prayer on the night that bridges these two feasts to honor Mary, and to pray for the sanctity of all human life.

Please come this year as we join our nation with one voice in prayer for the gift of life.

ST. ELIAS ANGEL TREE Because the TAP Living Center no longer exists, the Youth Group decided to support

“Angels” from St. Joseph’s Indian School and instead of regular gifts the “Angels” will be for various amounts of money to support the children of St. Joseph’s Indian School.

More information will be forthcoming and the Youth Group is in the process of assigning the “Angel” amounts for our tree.

As always, please support our Youth’s efforts especially when it comes to helping others in need. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
