• EAE or Early Admissions Exercise is an aptitude-basedadmissions exercise that allows you to apply and receive a conditional offer for admission to polytechnic based on your aptitudes and interests.

Preparing your Portfolio
• A portfolio is a compilation of materials that show evidence of your talents and interests
• May include pieces of works, projects that demonstrate your ability and interest in an area related to the course applied for
• Shows a high degree of finishing and with a diverse range of works
• All works are cited and clearly explained
What do you do best?
• Aptitude test evaluates candidates’ understanding of, and aptitude for the course that they have applied for.
• Questions are based on course-specific topics
Preparation for your Interview
• Bring along relevant documents, e.g. portfolio, evidence of relevant experiences/involvement, CCA record
• Be yourself and let your confidence shine.
• At the end of the day, the interviewer would gauge suitability of the student to see if you are committed to, and your passion in studying the course of your choice.
