If ingested, may cause a slight abdominal pain and vomit. Inhalation of metallic dust or fumes may cause slight irritation and dryness in the upper respiratory tract (mouth, nose and throat), mild cough and headache and tearing. Direct contact may cause slight swelling, irritation, edema and erythema, reddening and rashes in the affected area. In contact with the eyes, may cause slight irritation and reddening.

6.1 PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTION EQUIPMENTS AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES Evacuate and/or isolate the risk area, demarcate such areas. Restrict access to all personnel especially without the proper protection equipment and training. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, clothing by wearing personal protection equipment (refer to Section 8 in these MSDS). Place downwind. Ventilate the area. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Avoid and prevent formation of dust clouds.

6.2 ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS Avoid material contaminating ground water. Avoid product to leak into the sewage.

6.3 MEANS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND SPILLS CLEAN UP. Prevent new spills. Contain and secure material. Absorb with inert material, (for instance sand, dirt, sawdust and/or vermiculite). Do not cleanse nor wash the area using aqueous cleaning products. Pick up manually with non-sparking tools and place in clean, dry airtight containers, properly identified. Dispose as hazardous waste.

7.1 PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING: Keep containers dry and airtight sealed in order to avoid moisture absorption and contamination. Use only in a well-ventilated area and wear personal protective equipment (refer to Section 8 of these MSDS). Keep clean the working area.
