Stainless Steel Casting Technology is probably most difficult, being specialized sector.

Hence it has become essential for the existing Foundrymen involved in

Manufacturing, Materials & Marketing, from steel casting industry, to get acquainted

with the intricacies involved in Stainless Steel Casting Technology.

Considering the above and feedback received from last event to maintain continuing

propagation of technology, we felt it necessity of providing insight. This two days

conference is being arranged.

The conference contains the papers from experts in the field with vast shop floor

experience and expertise, we, therefore, are sure that the participants will benefit

immensely from this conference.

The areas concerned range from basic Metallurgy, Methoding, Melting,

Instrumentation, Refractory, Heat Treatment, Welding, NDT, Sand Technology and

so on. Presentation on Metallurgy of Stainless Steels with emphasis on Duplex

Stainless Steels has been included.

The important aspect of 'Fettling and Salvaging' of Stainless Steel Casting will

specially be dealt in special session of Panel Discussions. Hence participants are

requested to send their shop floor problems well in advance.
