PhD Research
Development of a Framework for Intelligent Voice-Enabled e-Education Systems that is
adapted and implemented for use by the visually impaired and able-bodied learners.
Completed Research Grant
Team member, Google Sponsored CS4HS Award, 2012. ($7,000.00).
Mentored my masters student on CODESRIA small grant for thesis writing resulting in winning
sum of $500 for my masters student and myself in 2015 to complete the masters project.
My university recently won a $6 million dollars grant for Africa Center of Excellence (ACE)
involving my Department-Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering and Biological
Sciences. I have learnt from the process and I am motivated to write more grant proposals.
