SUMMARY
DONOR Increase of 15% positive registrations in the national registry in 2016
Highest number of potential donors (= potential + effective donors)
increase of 5%
Effective donors (+2%) : Increase of amount DBD donors: 70% DBD in 2016 (66% DBD in 2015)
84% is a liverdonor- 3,4% is a pancreasdonor
Potential donors: 36% donor refusals for medical reasons (highest number)
Family refusals remains stable (13,1%)

HEART Slight increase of the waitinglist (+6%) Decrease of transplantations (-17%) Higher mortality on WL (17%)
