One of the biggest challenges facing businesses, especially those departments responsible for payment processing, is securely processing customers’ pay-by-phone information within industry compliance requirements. Industry compliance certification costs are high, and there’s increased sensitivity on the part of savvy consumers to identity theft scenarios that can result from sharing sensitive financial data with customer care and collections agents.

CSG Secure Payment Processing solution allows agents to transfer a call at the conclusion of the order or payment placement process to a secure, automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solution for payment capture and authorization. Companies can leverage their existing Merchant and Payment Processing relationships or utilize CSG’s Payment Gateway service. The Payment Gateway service facilitates the routing of credit card transactions (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) and debit card transactions to select third party processors and provides BIN management capabilities which enable PIN-less debit processing. The Payment Gateway service will determine the eligibility of each card transaction for PIN-less debit processing and transmit the card transaction directly to one or more debit

networks (STAR, NYCE and Pulse). The Payment Gateway service supports one-time and recurring card payments. In addition, the Payment Gateway enables ACH payments, PayPal and Bill Me Later.
