OSAC Tunis is one of over 143 country councils where security professionals in collaboration with the US Embassy work to share information about security issues.

In Tunis we meet every 6-8 weeks to discuss the security situation, share best practices, and network.

Mr. David Santiago is the current Private Sector Chairman in Tunis.

remarks for the recent performance of Tunisian Security Forces.

• The Mnihla incident did underscored improvement and pro-activeness.

• However, it was noted that this was an “arrest operation”. Additionally, one of the militants was already detained and subsequently let go for lack of evidence.
