Requirements• Access as ‚root‘ via „ssh“

• Password of SEHR user ‚orgadmin‘ is known

• SEHR service was installed and running before

• tar-Package „sehr-6.x.x-rely.tgz“ downloadedx is version (main/minor) y is release (distributed, patched packages)

Prepare the Update (#1)Note:

‚setup.pl‘ shuts down the SEHR Core (disconnecting users temporarely)!

1. Upload / copy package to the server e.g. by „scp“ or ‚WinSCP ‘ (< very powerful)

2. login by „ssh“ and „su“ as „root“

3. untar „sehr“-package in a temporary path, e.g. /root/tmp

4. „chdir“ into to the path sehr-6.x.x.-rely ...

5. start „setup.pl“ (without options!)

right: content of tar, copy by „F5“ to the left in a „tmp“ path

left: run „setup.pl“ via „mc“ just by „enter“

Update (#3)

„setup.pl“ does some checks, asks you a lot of stuff ... if SEHR was up and running before just say „ok“ to everything...

Update (#5)

Important: restart SEHR core after update!:

#>cd <path_to_sehrroot>/sbin#>./rcSEHRServer start

Check Update (#6)Check if SEHR host is available by clients....

Checklist:

1. Is SEHR core started?

2. Do you see the SEHR page at http://<server_ip>/sehr/?

3. Do you see the navigation applet?

Update WEB Services (#7)

• Login via „navigation applet“

• Call the „Tomcat WEB Site Manager“by Tomcat link (left side) or by URLhttp://<ip>:8080/manager/html

• remove „sehr-osi“ service(ONLY this SEHR module!)

Install from \\<server_ip\sehr\fsthe package „sehr-osi.war“
