    LOG IN TO THE MEMBERSHIP SITE

    1. We recommend that you use Google Chrome to log in to scs.thelifecoachschool.com.

    2. Do not cut and paste your credentials into the login fields as it can create spaces and lock you out.

    3. If you get an error, try clearing your browser history and cache.

    FORGOT PASSWORD

    If you forgot your password, you can click on “Forgot/Reset your password?” link under the login

    credential box. Enter the email address that you used when you enrolled.

    CALL SCHEDULE AND ZOOM INFORMATION

    The monthly call schedule is posted on the membership site under the “CLASSES” tab. Click “CLASSES” then click on

    the current month from the drop-down menu. The current call schedule, Zoom link, phone numbers, and Webinar ID are

    directly below the schedule on the specific month page as shown here:

    If you have never used Zoom before a “zoomusLauncher.zip” file will download after you click the Zoom link. Double

    click the “zoomusLauncher.zip” to join the live call.

    If the webinar has not started, you will see a pop-up window that will say, “Please wait for the host to start

    this webinar.”

    Once Brooke starts the webinar, you will see her on your screen.

    Mobile

    Download the Zoom app to

    your mobile device.

    Open the app and select

    “Join a Meeting.”

    Type in the Webinar ID:

    [Shown below calendar.

    This changes each month.]

    If the webinar has not started, after you select “Join” the app will tell you “Waiting for the host

    to start this meeting”

    BEING COACHED LIVE ON A CALL

    If you requested to be coached, Brooke will ask you to click the “Raise Hand” button on your

    screen during the Zoom call. You can unmute yourself and Brooke, as the host, also has the

    ability to unmute you. Your video and audio will then be unmuted and you will be seen on the

    screen.

    On the Q&A calls, you can ask questions by clicking the “Q&A” button (see above right next to

    Raise Hand). This feature is a live chat via text box:

    LIVE CALL RECORDINGS

    The recording of each live coaching call is uploaded on the membership site within 24 hours.

    These recordings are posted under “Call Recordings” at the bottom of the “CLASSES” page for

    the month, immediately under the booklet downloads.

    You can watch the call recording directly from your computer, or you can download the audio

    file version using SoundCloud and listen from your mobile device. Click the arrow at the upper

    right-hand corner to download and save.

    HOW TO LISTEN TO RECORDINGS ON YOUR PHONE

    There are a few ways you can access and listen to the audio files once you download and save

    them on your mobile device:

    SoundCloud

    You will need to download the SoundCloud app on your mobile device. This is a free application.

    You can also purchase SoundCloud Go for $4.99 per month. This feature allows you to listen to

    the live calls and podcasts without using your data.

    Step 1:

    Download the SoundCloud

    app on your mobile device.

    Step 2:

    Click the magnifying glass

    icon at the bottom to

    search.

    Step 3:

    In the search box type in

    Brooke Castillo. Click

    the gray icon to the right of

    Brooke’s listing to add the

    station.

    Step 4:

    Select “Start Station”

    Step 5:

    Your station has been

    successfully created.

    Step 6:

    When you log in again,

    your “Station” will appear.

    Dropbox

    A simple way to download, organize, and listen to the audio files online or offline is through

    Dropbox.

    Step 1:

    Download the call from the website under “Call Recordings” and save to your Dropbox folder on

    your computer. (Or if you do not have Dropbox installed on your computer you can download to

    your computer and then upload the saved file to your Dropbox account in your browser when

    you are logged in.)

    Step 2:

    Make sure you have the

    Dropbox app downloaded

    to your phone.

    Step 3:

    Navigate to the audio file

    that you saved in your

    Dropbox folder in Step 1.

    You can listen to it by

    selecting the call from this

    screen and listening to it

    using Wi-Fi or data, or you

    can save it for offline

    listening shown in Step 4.

    Step 4:

    Select the gray downward-

    facing caret in a circle to

    the right of the audio file

    name for the call you wish

    to access offline. These

    options will be revealed:

    Step 5:

    Select “Make Available

    Offline”. Dropbox will

    then download the file for

    listening offline without

    using your data.

    Step 6:

    Confirm the file is

    downloaded by looking for

    the green arrow pointing

    down to the right of the file

    name but to the left of the

    gray caret.

    Step 7:

    You can also easily find all

    your downloaded files that

    are available for offline

    listening by selecting

    “Offline” in the

    navigation on the bottom,

    to the far right.

    You can easily remove the downloaded file from the device here when you are done listening

    offline by selecting the same gray downward-facing caret in a circle to the right of the audio file

    name:

    I CAN’T FIND MY QUESTION IN “ASK BROOKE”

    Click on ASK BROOKE on the menu.

    Type in the “Question Title” that you originally submitted in the search box under “ANSWERED

    QUESTIONS.” Click on the question title to see your response, like this:

    1. Type your question title in this box:

    2. Hit return or enter after typing your question title to find your entry then click on your

    question title to expand the question and answer:

    3. Once you click on your question title, it will expand the text of your question and the

    answer from Brooke is below:

    I HAVEN’T RECEIVED ANY EMAILS

    If you haven’t received any emails from us, you should first check your “spam”, “junk,” or

    “categories” folders (depending on your email provider). You can also “whitelist” our domain

    name: @thelifecoachschool.com. Whitelisting will allow all emails from a certain domain name

    (e.g. thelifecoachschool.com) to be received in your inbox.

    Here are the steps for Gmail:

    1. When you’re in your Gmail inbox, click the gear in the upper right-hand corner and

    select “settings”

    Click “Filters and Blocked Addresses”

    2. Click “Create a new filter”

    3. To ensure receipt of emails from The Life Coach School, enter the domain name exactly

    like this: @thelifecoachschool.com. At the bottom right of the pop-up box, click “Create

    filter with this search” in the lower right-hand corner.

    4. Check the “Never send it to spam” box, and then click “Create filter”
