Self Esteem is how we feel about ourselves. It is a feeling which comes from awareness of what is good and having done it

Name, gender, race, religion, occupation, role, so much more

Begins during childhood as parents provide role models

Continues during adolescence as teens establish own identity

Sense of worth or value??

This appraisal is an on-going process so…levels of self-esteem can change.

Body image is dynamic: the body changes thru normal growth and development.

Leads to a happy, gratifying and purposeful life.

Gives us internal drive.

Have life with optimis, better relationship and fulfilling lives.

Makes the people highly motivated, ambitious, sensitive and open to challenges as well as opportunities.

Gives and receives criticism and compliments, tactfully as with ease.

So, Self-esteem is a feeling that comes from the awarness of what is good and having done it.
