SELFIES: HAVE THEY REACHED THEIR PEAK?
Selfie Pronunciation: /ˈselfē/ NOUN (plural selfies) • informal A photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website: “occasional selfies are acceptable, but posting a new picture of yourself everyday isn’t necessary”
A survey of 929 Android and iOS smartphone owners in the UK, carried out by mobile sample and technology company On Device Research, reveals that 29% have taken a selfie within the last week. Fieldwork period: March 9-10, 2014
