To foster an environment for students to experience STEM. The club will provide opportunities to participate in robotics competitions such as FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and VEX Robotics Competition.
Science Club Mr. Sabarre/Mr. Young Room 221 Wednesday Lunch To enhance students’ appreciation of science in the world. Club members will be given opportunities to attend science /engineering/robotics competitions as well as opportunities to introduce elementary school students to “fun” science.
Semiahmoo Drone Club
Ms. Simpkin Room 125D Wednesday 3:00-4:00 To teach techniques on drone photography, and incorporate flying drones. Members will also learn how to photo shop and edit footage taken by the drones.

Ms. Harrison Room 225 Thursday Lunch To provide kids with STEM education and experiences that will encourage and inspire them for lifelong exploration of STEM. Events will be held outside of Semi (volunteering at local elementary schools). This will not conflict with STEM club since this is service oriented.
