DEFENSE BATON ™ TRAINING
Personal Safety Training Inc.’s Defense Baton™ Training program is designed to teach officers skills, techniques and defensive actions for the appropriate use of the expandable baton as a self-defense and/or use of force management option. The Defensive Baton™ training program is a funda- mental-based system that can be utilized in a variety of situations and environments.
This program is for individuals involved in Security, Healthcare Security, Law Enforcement, Military Operations, Correctional Facilities, and Protective Services Agencies.

1. Baton Awareness Identify liabilities associated withusing a baton and mitigate the risks.
2. Use of Force and Self-Defense Mitigating liability risk throughproper documentation and use.
3. Baton Nomenclature Education on baton parts, types,models & maintenance.
4. Defensive Tactics Fundamentals Proper knowledge and educationof defensive tactics and techniques.
5. Baton Handling Positions Drawing and handling techniquesto ensure control of the baton.
With onsite training, we come to your location and teach the training course to a group of individuals or instructors. All courses include course manual, certificate, and wallet card.
Basic courses offer a 4-hr on-site training for your staff.
Advanced courses offer an 8-hr “train-the-trainer” approach, allowing your instructors to provide ongoing training to the rest of your staff at your convenience. Upon successful completion of the testing criteria, certified Instructors will be able to train, certify and re-certify others in the basic training course.
