Another great seminar for 2014—Evolving with Web Control

Every year we try our best to encourage all our customers to give up a day of their time and spend time with us, to meet the Web Control family and realise that there is plenty of life still left with Infoflo/Avante. We have been very busy developing new products and tools in 2014, which were well received at the seminar and hope it brings significant benefits to you and your business. We will certainly look at your feedback and look to improve year on year. We hope you have come to realise that we are different to most suppliers. We have worked closely with most of you over a number of years and you now see us as your partners. All the information covered during the seminar has been posted on our website.

Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you again. Minesh Shah, Managing Director

Product Development—Dave Lotz

have been at Web Control for just over 5 years now, and have had a broad range of responsibilities from support to projects to in-house technician. In a drive to keep our customers up to date with technological advances I am going to focus on developing new products to enhance your business, keeping you ahead of the competition.

This may mean that from time to time I will be contacting some of you to help me in the development process. I would like as much customer input on this as I can get so that we can focus on delivering products that you want and will make a difference to your business.

I will be working closely with the support and projects team to identify any potential areas that need developing. With support I will be looking to see which areas are causing issue time and time again, and with projects I will have a look at each one to see if they are unique to that customer or could be a more universal fit.

We are keen to hear from our customers to develop the next generation of products using the latest technologies.

Please contact me directly if you have any questions.

Improving customer service

Autumn 2014 [email protected] Tel:(+44)01327 317 650 www.webcontrol.co.uk

Support—James Heselden

Projects—Paul Cosker

I have been at Web Control for almost 2 years working primarily on Support. It has been the area of the business that I have found the most interesting, challenging and rewarding.

So to be given the responsibility of overseeing Support here has been quite a natural progression and a privilege to myself. I will oversee a support team with the guidance of Martin to implement some important changes to support. I have sent out some customer feedback forms on support recently and I will be using your feedback to help improve our service.

We will start this by implementing a new helpdesk system. From a customer point of view this will come with a customer portal that will let you view your full ticket history including closed tickets and check the updates on any of your support calls. It will also include a knowledge base that we will update with articles that you may find interesting and in future, answer books on various topics related to your ERP system. You will still also be able to directly email the helpdesk as with our current system.

From our point of view it will give us more features to improve our service. Automatic escalations on tickets. We will be able to implement a priority to tickets that will be guided by new SLA’s to help improve our service. As well as being able to keep track of time spent on calls. It will also improve our reporting on our service.

Should you have any concerns or questions on support please feel free to contact myself regarding this.

James Heselden +44 (0)1327 317652

After two years of joining Web Control I have now been given the responsibility of overseeing all projects, to ensure timescales and quality are delivered to the highest standard.

I will be completing a PRINCE2 project management course in December which will ensure I am qualified to manage all projects and deliver them to the PRINCE2 industry standards.

This leads me to communication and escalation:

Individual Web Control employees will continue to be responsible for the day-to-day quotation, set-up, and delivery of projects – this is your first point of contact for queries.

I will now oversee all projects and provide your first escalation point should you have any queries or issues regarding the timescales / quality / or customer service on the delivery of our projects. Your second escalation point will be Minesh Shah.

To measure improvement we are always looking for positive or constructive feedback, this is the only way we can improve our service.

I will soon be contacting customers on the completion of each project to ensure we meet or exceed your expectations.

I look forward to working with you all throughout 2015.

Web Control fun

Sponsorship of the local football team

Here at Web Control we believe giving back to the local community is important and we are pleased to announce the sponsorship of the Cedars Primary School football team.

The team comprises of Year 5 and Year 6 boys (Ages 10 and 11) and is made up of children solely from Cedars Primary School. They play against other Primary Schools in and around the Milton Keynes area and play in the Milton Keynes Primary School League and over the course of the season should play 8 matches. There is also a knock out cup competition which again all primary schools can enter.

Training takes places on a Thursday evening, while matches are on a Wednesday evening.

Good luck to the team this season!

Playing with people of mixed abilities and playing in the right spirit makes the Web Control golfing event so unique. We all had a laugh at our own and other peoples’ expense. A couple of memorable events spring to mind when Graham Scott’s tee off went the full 36 inches. Steve Ward’s trousers with the mustard top may have a big part to play. Paul Garrett’s tee shot narrowly missing a fellow golfers while comfortably sitting in his golf cart may have given him his first mild heart attack. This game can be frustrating at times and poor Derek of Halco had one of those days by losing the most balls. All in all, a great day out supported by customers and suppliers.

Golf Day 2014

Oh, did I forgot to mention for the 100th time, the nearest to the pin was won by me. Some say it was luck and I have searched for an answer only to reach the same conclusion. Minesh
