What is a SEMINAR?A seminar is an opportunity to meet with your instructor and classmates in a chat room for a live lecture and a Q&A

session.

Do I have to attend?No. You do not have to attend seminar; but they are very valuable if you can attend. If you can attend, you are given valuable if you can attend. If you can attend, you are given participation points. If you cannot attend there is a written assignment that can be completed for the same amount of

points.

What does it mean to have a FLEX seminar?

Having a FLEX seminar means that you will be given more than Having a FLEX seminar means that you will be given more than one opportunity each week for the live lecture. Some classes may offer many different days and times to attend with different instructors. You choose which best fits your schedule.

How do I know when seminars will be offered?

flexible, meaning that they can change without notice, so always read your Course Announcements and check your email for

invitations often.

lecture for my class? No. If a class is listed as having no weekly seminar, it just means that one specific day and time has not been chosen. Ultimately it is up to the instructor.
