SENATE ORDER ENTITY CONTRACTS

FBERUARY 2019

Pursuant to the Senate Order on entity contracts the following table sets out contracts entered into by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation Group, which provide for a consideration to the value of $100,000 or more (GST inclusive) and which:

1. have not been fully performed in the 12 months prior to 1 January, 2019; or

2. have been entered into during the 12 months prior to 1 January, 2019.

Most of the contracts listed contain confidentiality provisions of a general nature that are designed to protect the confidential information of the parties that may be obtained or generated in carrying out the contract. The reasons for including such clauses include:

1. ordinary commercial prudence that requires protection of trade secrets, proprietary information and the like; and/or

2. protection of other Commonwealth material and personal information.

Given that ANSTO operates on a commercial basis, commercially sensitive information for contracts included in this report has been omitted. Some contracts have not been included in the table if disclosure would be contrary to the public interest, contrary to statutory secrecy provisions, or contrary to the

Privacy Act.

Assurance has been provided by the entity head that, for the contracts listed, they do not contain confidentiality provisions which were, considered in the full circumstances, inappropriate
