Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

1 CHAPTER I

2 Declaration of Policy

3 SE('TI0N 1. Declaration of Policy. - The State affirms

4 labor as a primary social and economic force and that a safe

5 and healthy workforce is an integral aspect of nation building.

6 The State shall ensure a safe and healthful workplace

7 for all working people by affording them full protection
