Technical update April 2017 Sencorex Flow As we enter potato planting season, we do so with the imminent loss of linuron. Products containing the active linuron, can be sold and distributed up until the 3rd June 2017, with growers allowed until 3rd June 2018 to use up any existing on farm stocks. The higher rate of Sencorex Flow offers increased flexibility to growers. Sencorex Flow contains metribuzin and is a trademark of Bayer Crop Science Highest Rate The maximum individual rate of Senorex Flow for earlies and maincrop is 1.15 l/ha (equivalent of 1.15 kg/ha of a WDG formulation). Please read the label carefully for more information. Current metribuzin WDG formulations have a maximum individual application rate of 0.75 kg/ha. Application EAMUs Use Sencorex Flow at the same field rate as a WDG formulation, for example, if you have used 0.75 kg/ha of a WDG in the past, 0.75 l/ha of Sencorex Flow provides at least the same level of weed control. The trials results opposite shows the im- proved % control from the flowable formula- tion at 14 days after application. Application was pre-emergence.
