Walking backwards• Nobody really any noticed- assumed

you where walking forwards until looked up and had to dodge them

• If people noticed, there wasn’t much of an reaction

• Felt a bit unnatural, weird and not automatic like walking forward

• You have to rely on the awareness of other people of the environment they are in

• Lots of people texting and not aware of their environment

• Simple routes were difficult like stepping off pavements backwards

• What would have been like off campus/ not in Selly Oak?

• People may have been more surprised

• Nobody was there long enough to notice- everyone was too worried about rushing and not getting wet

• Asked to move as in the way

• Variables- Weather- Time of day- Location- Dress
