W hen May 17, 1987 became a reality instead of a mere dream.
many thoughts went through each individual senior's mind. Th ir past, their future, their failures, their accomplishments, their drea s. their goals. E ach one reminisced bout the thirteen years they had worked and the time spent earning their diploma.
After the tension and the excitement of graduating had surpassed, they were all left with one uestion. What does the future hold? This was an almost frightening thought, although very realistic. One had to wonder what was in store for them Many had their futures planned out and

knew what they were going to do. " I want to have my own business, get married, and have two kids ," stated Suzy Otto. But not knowing was not t at uncommon. Some seniors had not m ade all their final decisions . " I have t ree choices I am looking at, but I haven't made my final decision," said

College Pre A mid the customary h1gl. school
activities , the seniors were concerned with college and career choices. With graduation quickly approaching, many seniors felt the pressures of making that final college or occupational choice.
Many of the courses offered to seniors were devised to prepare them for "college life". Seniors ere faced with many academic responsibilities.
Pressure Among them were mind-boggling term papers , numerous book reviews, a required semester of government, and a gr at deal of work from other classes. T rm papers for CP E nglish topped or f the list of the most "undesired" asS! nments. Most seniors found writm term papers a long and difficult process. Jennifer D addario said, "We have no terms of endearment for term papers" .

Wheels Get YouTh re J unkers , rustbuckets, be t ers . Hot or
tuff, wheels get you there. For tho e who had one, wheels gave t em independance but additional worrie .
Many felt independen e by having their own car. "You can go he rever you want, whenever you want,' stated Dan Belohlavy.
Along with the pleasures of having a car came several concerns. According to Sara Cease, "Panic sets in hen the gas gauge is below E and you have several miles to go."
The selection of senior auto varied from cars destined for the junk yard to envy inducing cruisemobile . Regardless of the make, model or year, nything was better than riding the bus.
jump starting a car doesn't always mean it's cold outside. Even in fair weather, it is an everyday occurance for Drey Ihm.
Realizing that fixing up a car can be very time consuming, Doug Nelson begins the long proces .
