• Tabloids – This news was exposed so the children were described as bullies. Also the principal wasn’t doing his job well.

• Serious newspapers - highlighting the consequences for those who started the fight.

• On TV they are publishing videos in which are blaming students and the principal, because they have to find someone that's ‘‘guilty‘‘ for the violence on the Bosnian kid. The purpose of the media is to increase number of people watching their news, although not information is verified.

Radio• This news was discussed also on the radio. On radiosall over Slovenia, there appeared various talk shows in which listeners suggest their solutions, opinions, about accepting immigrants into society.

Forums• People on the forums are wondering whether to transfer the boy to

another school will really solve the problem. • They are talking about the system which allows this kind of behavior,

and searching for solutions, so this kind of harassment wouldn’t happen again.

• Mom of a student that frequents the same school as the beaten boy wrote, that most of rumors of the media is not true, and the statements such as: ‘‘students are violent, parents are to blame, school does not provide protection‘‘. It does not apply for all, because the media are accusing them for all that, although they don’t know what the real story is.

• Don’t believe everything that media writes, says or broadcast!• Journalists only care about making money, and not about all the

consequences that people involved have after they publish something.• Journalists are not checking facts; they are just making up things to

make the story interesting.
