In 2012, the Stark County Recorder’s Office began issuing United States Vet-

eran Document Identification Cards to veterans who have recorded their mili-

tary discharge record (DD-214) in the Stark County Recorder’s Office.

The Veteran Document Identification Card can be useful to veterans trying

to prove their eligibility for certain benefits that their military service has

earned them. This card displays a photo of the veteran, along with information

pertaining to their service to our country.

By displaying this logo, you and your business are showing your support to

our service men and women, stating that you may offer discounts on merchan-

dise to a United States Veteran. If you know of a business interested please

contact our office at 330-451-7443 so we can assist you in this process.
