The Stark County Recorder’s Office is pleased to announce that it will be part of the Veteran’s Mobile Outreach Event hosted by Congressman Jim Renacci of the 16th District of Ohio on April 26, 2017. The goal of the event is to reach out to military members, both active and retired, and their families. The event will be held at S.A.L.T BOX Ministries located at 408 Market St. W, Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614. Organizations that will be pre-sent along with the Stark County Recorder’s Office include the Stark County Veterans Center, Community Legal Aid: Veterans Legal Team, the SAM Center, Pegasus Farms: Military Family Center, Stark County Veteran’s Service Commission, National Cemetery Administration, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, The Cleveland VA Regional Office, and the Library of Congress: Veteran’s History Project.
Rick Campbell, along with his staff will be issuing Ohio Veteran ID cards to
veterans who have not yet received their card. If you would like to receive
your ID card, please bring the following:

On March 8, 2017, the Stark County Recorder’s
Office joined by the Stark County Veterans Ser-
vice Commission, a representative from the SAM
Center and the VA Outreach Program visited the
Perry Township Hall to issue Veteran ID cards.
Over 50 veterans were able to obtain their Ohio Veteran ID Card and
ask questions pertaining to their benefits and other
programs assisting veterans. The next mobile event
for the Stark County Recorder’s office will be May
10th at East Canton Town Hall.

bindings are rapidly
decaying. Recorder

only will recovering
these books preserve
the contents, but will
ensure these books are
readily available for
years to come.

In 2012, the Stark County Recorder’s Office began issuing United States Vet-
eran Document Identification Cards to veterans who have recorded their mili-
tary discharge record (DD-214) in the Stark County Recorder’s Office.
The Veteran Document Identification Card can be useful to veterans trying
to prove their eligibility for certain benefits that their military service has
earned them. This card displays a photo of the veteran, along with information
pertaining to their service to our country.
By displaying this logo, you and your business are showing your support to
our service men and women, stating that you may offer discounts on merchan-
dise to a United States Veteran. If you know of a business interested please
