ELITE Sentinel V2
02/Quick Start Web UI
Botron Company Inc.
Welcome to the ELITE Web UI for the Sentinel V2. Here you can control the settings of your device such as VTR (Variable Test Resistance) Technology, calibration, relays and much more. The ELITE Web UI is an interactive web app that works in most browsers across many platforms, such as mobile phones, tablets and desktops. This gives you access to your test equipment anywhere you go within your network.
Once you have connected your device to your network, access the Web UI by entering the IP address in the browser of your choice. The IP address is automatically obtained by the ELITE Sentinel V2 once connected to your network.
This Quick Start Guide is to give you an overview of the screens and features of the Web UI.

LIVE VIEWThe Live View screen displays realtime information about the personnel interacting with the equipment.
There are 6 tiles: Operator A & B, CIM A & B, Mat and About.
The Operator Tiles will display the operators’ resistance path to ground and test voltage.
The CIM Tiles will display voltage and fault count.
The Mat Tile displays the work surface RTG (resistance to ground).
The About Tile features general hardware information such as Serial Number, Firmware version, Bootloader version and Calibration date.

DIAGRAMThe diagram screen is a quick reference of ports and connections of the Sentinel and it’s components.
P5
UNIT TAGThe Unit Tag page is where you can personalize the name and description of your device. If you have multiple Sentinels and/or your work benches are tagged internally, use the Device Name and Device Description fields to help identify your monitor’s location.
You can also personalize the name of each operator that displays on the Sentinel.
Using a unique identifier for your CIM (Circuit Intrusion Monitoring) ports will help identify what tools, ground planes or jigs they are connected to.
P6
TEST SETTINGSVTR (Variable Test Resistance) Technology gives you all the control and customization over your monitoring test range settings. In this screen, you can set the Low and High Fail for each operator as well as the Low and High Fail for the mat. Additionally, you can set Low and High Trigger points for each CIM port.
The Default Range button will reset the test range settings back to factory configuration.
P7
BUZZER CONTROLIn the Buzzer Control screen, you can toggle on and off the audible alarm normally triggered by events.
P8
RELAY CONTROLGlobal Relay:Toggle On or Off relay trigger for global faults such as ground and hard ground.
Operator A & B:Toggle On or Off relay trigger for Operator resistance faults.
Mat Relay:Toggle On or Off relay trigger for mat resistance faults and/or loss of ground.
P9
CALIBRATIONAll calibration information is date stamped and stored digitally on your monitoring system. Your calibration certificate is easily accessible though this screen in the web app when you need it.
The calibration chart shows verified loads for each monitored application along with spec. tolerance, measured result and measured accuracy.
Calibration Mode:The hardware will enter Calibration Mode, the Sentinel’s display will walk you through the necessary steps to calibrate your device.
The Sentinel V2 comes calibrated from the factory (NIST traceable).
P10
NETWORKWhen connected to a PC by the Ethernet cable, the Sentinel V2 will configure it’s Local Area Network (LAN) settings. Assuming you are on the network, this screen will have stored all the network information regarding this device.
When Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol is enabled, the Sentinel V2 network settings will be assigned by the network router. By disabling DHCP, you may manually configure the Sentinel V2 network settings.
FACTORY DEFAULTIn this screen you can choose to reset individual settings back to a factory default.
