be tonight – come to the Hippodrome” or “Fly to Venice and meet me” or

“EDM party going on big time in NYC” – “Santa Monica Beach is going down tonight” - “join us we make the bass beat bad” etc.

11. Use words that easy “sells” or call to action like; Free, Discover, Secret,

and Meet the stars, for you only, never seen before, get two pay for one etc.

12. Use humour like Kevin hart kind of humour or wording like “How to…” “Where to….” “What to….” “Why not…”

“LAPTOP SEO”

SEO is the technical part of optimization. SEO differentiates itself by relying on

organic search results as opposed to paid search. Your website will get more

views if it has high SEO value, it does however not create engagement - only traffic.

Start by submitting your web URL to Search Engines so they know you are out

there:

(Yahoo is using Bing so by submitting your site to Bing you also submit

to Yahoo)

When your URL is submitted the search engines know your address and then

they send out web crawlers known as spiders to visit you to index your site’s

contents into the search engines index database system. The spiders follow

and add the links they find on your site and the links that they used to find your

page to the index system. They also use any text they find on your pages to

rank your site; either your title - your description - keywords or coding: like tags,

ALT tags etc. when this is done, you have taken the first step to be found by the

search engine.

As the website owner you can partly decide how Google index your website by

using the tool file “robots.txt”. You can make sure that the searchers find what

they expect to find on your site by the keywords you use and where you place

them (always in the page title – headings, text etc.) and a high amount of

relevant (not repeated) keywords for the crawlers to find on your page (=

keyword rich) so they know what your site is all about. The better you do this

the more weight it has to the search engines and the higher your ranking will be

on the search result page.

The search engines like Google make their earnings from the use of their

search engine service (the more users the higher advert income and the higher

market value they get), it’s therefore important that the result is the most

relevant and right one for their users.

Keyword relevance for you could be the title of your song, your name, the title

and story of your song, the mood, your image, the genre, your events, where

you’re based etc. and also remember the negative relevant keywords. Where

the use of not relevant keywords would be to mention Taylor swift if she has

absolutely nothing to do with you or your content and you’re only trying to

“steal” some of the searchers of hers – it will be punished in the long run.

My Best advice: Write authentic trustworthy relevant content for your fans - do

not just stuff keywords on your website because you will lose traffic for doing it

by the search engines = they will rank you lower because of low quality or wrong content.

Summarizing what Search Engines index and rank after:

1. Unique and meaningful page titles that are multiple keyword rich ☺

2. Have your website name (the URL) listed first in the description and

make it explain what the visitors should visit your site for. YouTube links

are clickable so adding extra links under the “Show more button” will

increase your traffic.

3. Write one 150+ words long video description with 20+ relevant keywords

for your video that viewers find below the “Show more button”. YouTube

search machines use the text attached to your video to understand what

the topic of your video is and the more YouTube search engine knows

about your videos content the better it ranks it for your target keywords

and the higher you get on the search result page.

4. Fill the title, artist name, album name, song title, genre, where to buy

tickets to your show, links to existing videos, lyrics, tour dates etc. in the

description box on your video channel. Create a tag for every relevant

keyword like your geographical location. You find the settings in your

YouTube channel dashboard (channel settings) click defaults and add

your; terms, descriptions and links to your social media profiles, this

information will be included every time you upload a new YouTube video.

5. YouTube favors HD videos and this alone gets them a higher place in

the search results. Your sites content should be unique, specific and

high quality. No mass-produced or outdated content! You should only

create video content aimed to give your visitors a good user experience,

so they come back to see more.

6. Fresh content – If you can add news more than once a day you will climb

the rank of the unpaid search results faster if you don’t want to do that

then use AdWords and pay your way up there.

7. You can get what’s called high Link popularity if enough sites like twitter

and Facebook etc. refer to or best link to your site. It is equally important

what kind of words they use to link to your site (positive/negative). Right

keywords on many sites and you’re the king or queen. You can get the

back links or referrals by engaging with other Social media sites and

specialized forums and then get them to back link = getting others to link

back to your own website. Google love links because they represent the

important proven human involvement, which ranks higher than nearly

anything else.

8. Start to blog or Vblog and make it all about you, your interests, the music

or whatever you can write about with passion and insight and make time

to post at least new content 3 times a week. Search engines look for

indexed pages so for each time you create a blog post you get noticed.

9. Your channel strengths are decided by the content in your videos and

the interaction you get from viewers. The more interaction you get the

stronger and the higher valued by the search engines you get for:

Trustworthiness, Frequency, video freshness, Interaction, Number of

subscribers and Number of channel views Reactions and engagement

from your viewer’s comments is valued by the number of comments, the

keywords, and the reaction, thumbs up or down and Likes and dislikes.
