Hands-‐On PVSYST TRAINING Date: 6-‐8th Sep. 2013 (Max 7 participants only for Interactive Session) Venue: First Floor, 40, Hanuman Lane, Connaught Place, New Delhi – 01. Workshop Fees: Rs 20,000 plus 12.36% Service Tax (The fees includes Hard Copy of the Training Material along with Lunch and other eateries) Date: 27-‐29th Sep 2013 (Max 15 participants only for Interactive Session) Venue: Lemon Tree Hotel, East Delhi Mall, Kaushambi, NCR Workshop Fees: Rs 15,000 plus 12.36% Service Tax (The fees includes Hard Copy of the Training Material along with Lunch and other eateries)
OBJECTIVES • Understand the impact of solar irradiation on PV production. • Present the characteristics and results of the standard diode model, and its extension to all the
technologies. • Characterize the components of a PV system and optimize its design. • Design a complete solar power plant using PVsyst. • Quickly size a system to prepare a budgetary quotation. • Better use of PVsyst to design various PV systems. • Design a large PV system in the fields with fixed modules
TARGET AUDIENCE • PV design engineers, PV installers, PV project managers, Teachers and Solar Professionals
PREREQUISITE • Good electricity knowledge, • Knowledge of PV market and industry, • Basics on the electrical behavior of a PV panel and a PV field, • Basics on inverters and their operation, • Demo version of PVsyst is provided. Original version has to be bought by the participants.
NECESSARY HARDWARE • Participants should bring a laptop with windows operating system.
INFORMATIONS The PVsyst software uses an extended knowledge of PV technology, meteorological irradiation
resources and PV components. However it cannot replace the user's expertise. It is a tool for deeply understanding PV systems and optimizing their design. Therefore this training proposes an important part of theoretical concepts. This course does not propose information about the PV industry or on standards and regulations. It does not either provide any administrative or bureaucratic constraints, commercial, economical or legal aspect for the design of a project.
