Membership is the largest source of funds for the shul and is what allows us to continue to be a first class center of
Torah, Tefilah and Community.
There will be an Oneg Shabbos at the home of Tomer and Jennifer Bitton in conjunction with the Rabbi Zvi
Teller Shabbos of Chizuk of the HTC at 9pm. Speaker Rabbi Binyamin Olstein.
Rabbi Cohen will be giving a Shiur/Q-A for women at the Rabbi Zev & Sara Nechama Brody home
7401 N. California at 4:00pm. This shiur is geared toward the younger wives in the shul.
End of the Year/Season: This Shabbos the Stewart Sheinfeld Father and Son Learning program will meet in
conjunction with Pirchei. Pirchei begins at 5:00pm with their Tehillim Club. (Pirchei is for boys in 2nd-8th
grades) Father and Son learning begins at 5:15pm.
Ice cream will be served. Both programs conclude
with a story and snacks in time for the 6pm Mincha.
Rabbi Cohen’s Gemora Shiur will be at 5:30pm.
This Shabbos, as part of the HTC’s Shabbos of Chizuk, Rabbi Yakov Sussman will be giving a Shiur on
Divrei Machshava related to Rosh Hashana, Shabbos afternoon at 5:50pm located in the main shul.
The Pirkei Avos Shiur will meet this Shabbos at 6:00pm with Rabbi Cohen in the youth Bais Medrash.
The 6:00 Mincha will be in the Bais Medrash.
Volunteers are needed to help Motzei Shabbos to change the shul to the white coverings and to
shine the silver in preparation for Yom Tov.
Motzai Shabbos Slichos begin at 12:45. Rabbi Cohen will be speaking at 12:15. This Drasha will be
available live at www.adasyeshurun.com/live and is sponsored L'ilui Nishmas Benyamin ben Mordechai.
N’shei Yeshurun would like to thank our guest speaker, Rabbi Tzvi Schnell, grandson of Mrs. Rashie
Schnell a'h, who inspired us with his timely drasha. This successful event was the culmination of the Mrs.
Rashie Schnell a'h Summer of Inspiration of the Erika Neter Mayer o.b.m. Women's Learning Division. We
would like to thank our volunteers, Adina Aberman, Lori Goldenberg, Nancy Rosen, Shoshana Ross, and
Shira Taxer. Wishing everyone a ksiva v'chasima tova and looking forward to another successful year of
outstanding programming!

Rabbi Cohen’s Daf Hashavuah Shiur will be meeting at 7:20 Sunday Morning, learning Masseches Yoma.
The Sunday morning women’s shiur will be meeting at 9:30am.
There is no Bnos Tzion or Tuesday night women’s shiur this week.
In addition to the Slichos before each Shacharis minyan, there will be a Chatzos Slichos. These Slichos are
preceded by learning of Ramban Hilchos Teshuva and Maariv at 12:30am.

The shul has a number of items that have not been claimed. Currently, we have keys, glasses, watches and a
dental retainer. Please contact the office to claim your item. These items will be donated or disposed of if
they are not claimed soon.

The Youth Department is once again offering subsidized childcare for children of all ages for Rosh Hashana and
Yom Kippur. Advance registration is required at www.adasyeshurun.com/babysitting. Registration closes
Monday September 18.
The shul will again be having a security officer posted at the front of the shul. In order to maximize the
effectiveness, we are asking people to help by taking a short shift at the front door over Yom Tov. To sign up
