You may also contract with the Farm Science Review Alumni Society (see the following page) or one of the mowing services provided in the directory. Ohio Law prohibits the placement of grass clippings into a landfill. Since our trash is hauled to such a facility, you cannot dispose of your clippings into FSR trash containers. We strongly urge you to leave your clippings on your lot. Do not place grass clippings on FSR streets.

12. THEFT: The theft of unsecured items from displays is a reoccurring problem. We urge all exhibitors to take care that gas caps are taped down, that cell phones and laptops are not left lying in the open unprotected and that, in general, an observant eye is kept on all materials. Most thefts can be prevented. Most of all, we urge you to report all thefts to the security personnel on the grounds. We are more than willing to prosecute those who conduct themselves in an illegal manner, but we need your help to do so!

13. TENT DAMAGES: Exhibitors are reminded that tents are the property of others and have significant value. When such damages occur, the Review, at times, is making restitution to the tent vendor. Such costs are passed back to the exhibitor.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN EXHIBIT AREA

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Each 2016 exhibitor is required to have in effect and main-tain for the period of the 2016 Farm Science Review, Sep-tember 12, 2016 to September 28, 2016, a policy of compre-hensive general liability insurance against claims of personal injury or death or damage to property occurring upon the exhibitor’s rented space, all demonstrational extensions of that space, and the exhibitor’s storage area, or any other area of the University premises. The period of the Review includes the set-up and tear-down periods. The general liability insur-ance (including contractual liability) shall provide coverage in the amount not less than $1,000,000, per occurrence, $2,000,000 in the annual aggregate. A Certificate of Insurance evidencing the above must be forwarded to the Farm Science Review Office on or before July 1, 2016. The certificate must list The Ohio State University as holder of the Certificate, and as an additional insured under the policy. Should the policy expire after July 1, 2016 and before September 28, 2016 the exhibitor’s insurance agent or carrier must notify the Farm Science Review of intent to renew in writing. Such policy of insurance shall bear an endorsement to the effect that the in-surer agrees to notify the Farm Science Review Management not less than ten (10) days in advance of any modifications or cancellations thereof. No Space Rental Agreement (Contract) will be approved without the required insurance.

DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE AND GOODS Distribution of literature and/or goods describing equip-ment, products or educational activities must be confined to the exhibitor’s lot or immediate demonstration area. Distri-bution of any other type of literature and/or goods will not be permitted without prior permission in writing from the management of the Ohio State Farm Science Review. The distribution of tobacco products is strictly prohibited.

ABUSE OF PRIVILEGES The abuse (by extortion sale of dishonest goods, untidy appearance of exhibits, or other acts or practices objection-able to the Farm Science Review Management) by exhibi-tors or concessionaires of any privilege granted will cause forfeiture of all rights and privileges including cancellation of exhibit space. The exhibitor, by the affixation of any autho-rized signature to a contract, does agree to these Rules and Regulations.

FARM SCIENCE REVIEWSpecial Needs VehiclesRules and Regulations

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!The use of a motorized vehicle is a privilege provided to the user. The abuse of this privilege will result in the revoking of the issued Special Needs Vehicle Permit and the removal from the grounds of the Molly Caren Ag Center of the vehicle and the individual(s) to whom the permit was issued. In such cases, no refunds of any collected fees shall be granted.

**Continuing Rules for 2016 Visitors**

The Farm Science Review is a pedestrian show and therefore, pedestrians always have the right-of-way. How-ever, it is noted that some of our visitors may require physical assistance to visit the show by utilizing either disabled/handicapped approved transportation or a golf cart. A golf cart should only be used by those who need physical assistance. The Farm Science Review is a golf cart only facility. The use of a golf cart at the Farm Science Review is deemed a privilege! In 2012, the Farm Science Review implemented a new policy to address safety concerns for our pedestrians for those who require assistance with a golf cart. One of two credentials will need to be produced by either the driver or passenger of the golf cart in order to bring their own golf cart whether owned or rented from another company or to rent a golf cart from the Farm Science Review designated vendor, Golf Car and Equipment Co. – 1) the registration form that states that an individual is disabled (the paperwork that accompanies the issuance of a disabled hang tag or license plate) or 2) a medical excuse from a doctor. Contact Farm Science Review management at 614-292-4278 if you have any questions about this policy.

The following are the Rules and Regulations for permitting Special Needs Vehicles during the Farm Science Review:1. The vehicle may not exceed a speed of 5 mph.2. The vehicle may not be used to enter an exhibit space housed inside a building or a tent with the exception of motorized wheelchairs/handicapped vehicles.3. The vehicle may not enter an outdoor exhibit space but shall remain in the street without obstructing the access to the exhibit space, with the exception of motorized wheelchairs/handicapped vehicles.4. The east-west avenues are one-way. The vehicle must travel down the avenue in the direction of the arrow on the FSR map. The north-south streets may be traveled in any direction.5. The operator must remove the key from the vehicle at such time that the vehicle is vacated.6. The operator may not transport more individuals than that for which the vehicle has seats.7. No pull-behind attachments to vehicles are permitted.8. The vehicle must stay between the yellow lines (drive lane) while traveling down the roadways. The vehicle may leave the drive lane to visit an exhibitor or vendor and then return to the drive lane. Motorized wheelchairs/handicapped vehicles are exempt from the drive lane.9. The vehicle is not permitted in the field demonstration areas. It must stay on the grass driveways. The vehicle is not premitted to pass tractors on the road.10. Vehicles must have a minimum of four wheels; three wheel golf cars are exempted.11. Operators must be a minimum of 25 years of age.12. Operators shall operate the vehicle in a safe and prudent manner.13. In those situations where questions arise relative to any aspect of these rules and regulations, the Farm Science Review Management shall be responsible for all final decisions.14.
