2 HOUR PLEDGE
Welcome to all students and families. I hope you had a wonderful
summer filled with many memories to share. Let’s get ready to make
some more great memories throughout this school year! We will have a
year filled with assemblies, field trips, the Walk-a-Thon, Marvelous
Manners, movie & skate nights, and many other fun activities and events. I’m excited to be back as your PTO President for the third and final year,
so let’s make this the best year yet! Knowing this is my final year we will
be looking for eager parents to keep our PTO running strong, so that we
can give our kids these activities and events that will make their years
here at Nye memorable. To get started, our first fundraiser will be coming home today; we are
once again selling KidStuff Coupon Books. If each student sells JUST
ONE, it would be a huge success. As in the past, if you sell five or more,
you will receive a FREE coupon book! Good luck selling. In conclusion, please be sure to take the time to look over all the
information and flyers the PTO is sending home today with this
Newsletter. Thank you for all for your support.
Sincerely,
Kelly Williamson

BOX TOPS for EDUCATION The PTO receives 10 cents for each box top that we submit. Last
year we earned $2,787.30! There are over 330 General Mills prod-
ucts that contain box tops. All you need to do is cut out the box top
and send it to school with your child in an
envelope marked “Box tops” and your child’s teacher’s name. We are having a
CLASSROOM COMPETITION like we did last year, and the winning classroom gets
a pizza party! Second and third place classrooms get a popsicle party sponsored by
the PTO. To view the eligible products, go to www.boxtops4education.com.
LABELS for EDUCATION Through this program, we can collect UPCs and beverage caps from
participating products to earn points that can be redeemed for FREE
educational merchandise! With a goal to collect 1000 points that we
can redeem for wish list items chosen by Dr. Winner and our teach-
ers, we need your participation! It's easy to help—simply save UPCs
and beverage caps from participating products and drop them off in the classroom. Please check out
www.labelsforeducation.com if you have any questions about clipping.
