Dear PazNaz Special Needs Families and Friends:

I hope you had a great summer! There have been many great events

and activities that my own family as well as the PazNaz community

have been able to participate in. Thank you to all who came out for

our luncheon this past week. It was great to see everyone. It is my

hope to have these types of connecting points a couple of times a

year. Watch for the next one!

One of the exciting things that PazNaz Special Needs ministries has

been doing for over a year now, is the switch to use Godly Play

curriculum with our special needs children and teen classes. Godly

Play is the type of storytelling that uses two and three dimensional

pieces to share the stories of the Bible. Over the past year, since we

began using these stories we have seen the children and teens have

come to look forward to them. It is part of their Sunday Morning

schedule to have this time where they are hearing a message or

story. We may not always know what they are hearing or taking in but

I truly believe that it is God’s spirit within each person that works and

moves. If you ever want to come and see for yourself just let me

know.

You are invited to participate in an Intergenerational Special Needs Choir, children, youth, adults with special needs and/or parents, and volunteers are welcome to be a part of a Special Needs Ministries choir.
