“There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly
have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table.” - Luke 16:19-21

Pray the Novena For Our Nation:
August 15th to October 7th
The time is now to call upon God, through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary, to heal our country and return it to holiness. This is a nationwide
prayer campaign called the “Novena for Our Nation.” Everyone from around the nation is encouraged to join
ranks as, united, we pray the very powerful 54 Day Rosary Novena from the Feast of the Assumption on August 15th to the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on
October 7th after daily morning Mass.

Rosary Rally to pray for
the United States
Join us on Sunday, October 13th at 4:00pm in the Church for an hour of prayer and Eucharistic Adoration followed by 5:00pm Mass for the intention of healing our great country, the United States of America. We need to
storm Heaven and beg God to hear our prayers of His Faithful and to make an atonement for the wounds we, as a nation, have caused Him. We can no longer sit idly by
and allow the evil to continue without getting on our knees and interceding for this great nation. This is a clarion call
to all the Faithful to sacrifice a couple hours to pray, along with millions of others across the nation who
will be praying at the same time.
Catholic Vehicle Decals are back and available for
purchase in the Parish Office for $8 each!
Please Continue to Pray for the Bahamas
Lord, we pray for all those who have been effected by the devastation of hurricane Dorian. Please be with them during this difficult time. We pray for protection and
comfort through all the loss. Please give us the strength to come together as a community to help those who are in great need as a result of the destruction of this storm. We pray for your blessings over the Bahamas. Amen.

The Mass Parish Study Session 3: God Speaks Our Story
On Monday, September 23, 2019 our second session taught us God speaks to us in the beauty and power
of creation, in the story of the Israelites, in His Word in the Old Testament and in Letters of the New.
We listen with an open heart and respond. The climax of the “Liturgy of the Word” comes as the priest or
deacon, speaking in persona Christi, reads to us the Gospel. In reverence we stand to receive the story
of Christ’s life, death, and Resurrection passed on in an unbroken chain from the Apostles.
We also celebrated Fr. George’s Birthday with a beautiful and delicious cake made by Alexis Aiello!
