given $61,801 to the Catholic Sharing Appeal, which funds many important
ministries in our Diocese of Laredo. We are over halfway to our parish goal! If every family made some contribution, we can

Religious Sisters Coming to St. Patrick Parish!
Earlier this month, Bishop James Tamayo and I went to Honduras to meet the Misioneras de Marilam, a religious community which will soon be sending the three women pictured to the left (Nora, Deyanina and Teodosa) to work in our parish and in the diocese for five years! This project will be partially funded by the Catholic Extension Society. They will hopefully arrive here in mid-January, if their immigration process goes well, so please keep that intention in your prayers. Thank God for this great blessing for St. Patrick Parish and the Diocese of Laredo!

We would like to invite you to join us for a life-changing weekend. This experience will take place October 19th and October 20th at the St. Patrick Church Parish Hall. Life Teen presents the Life, Love & the Pursuit of Happiness Retreat with spiritual direction provided during the weekend. The Retreat's goals are to allow an opportunity for high school boys & girls to focus on their faith and its application during their daily lives, to build purpose in their prayer life, introduce them to St. John Paul II Theology of the Body, to increase their presence at the liturgy, and to cultivate friendship among members of the church community. The Retreat will be held at the St. Patrick Church Parish Hall and it begins Saturday, October 19th, with check-in at 11:30AM and dismissal at 9PM. It continues on Sunday, October 20th, with check in at 11:30AM with dismissal at 9PM. This is
not an overnight retreat. Cost for each retreatant is $50.00 full payment must be submitted with online registration in order to reserve your place. The registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Registration forms are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the retreat is full, all other registrations will be kept on a waiting list if any openings become available for the retreat. Parent Sessions will be held Saturday, October 19th with check-in at 11:30am and dismissal at 9pm. Both Parents are encouraged to attend. Sessions are $20 and need to complete application to attend. Parents may attend without teens attending, as well as Teens may attend without parents attending and will be getting the same information as the teens, to encourage at home discussion on the topics. Please sign up online for registration and bring the completed the medical forms to the sign in on the day of the retreat. Teens will be getting a t-shirt and lunch, dinner and snacks both days. Parents will be getting lunch, dinner, and snacks one day. *This retreat will meet the high school confirmation retreat requirement. Parent Sessions will count as 5 for parent sessions for confirmation. * Registration for teen: $50 One parent : $20 , 2nd parent free

¡Hermanas Religiosas Vienen a la Parroquia de San Patricio!
A principios de este mes, el obispo James Tamayo y yo fuimos a Honduras para reunirnos con las Misioneras de Marilam, una comunidad religiosa que pronto enviará a las tres mujeres representadas (a la izquierda: Nora, Deyanina y Teodosa) a trabajar en nuestra parroquia y en la diócesis. ¡por cinco años! Este proyecto será parcialmente financiado por la Sociedad Católica de Extensión. Con favor de Dios llegarán aquí a mediados de enero del 2020 si su proceso de inmigración va bien, así que por favor manténganlas en sus oraciones. ¡Gracias a Dios por esta gran bendición para la Parroquia de San Patricio y la Diócesis de Laredo!
