We will be packing sack lunches and heading out to enjoy some fun at the beach! The park is right on Lake Michigan. Pray for nice weather! Get the Scoop : I scream, you scream, We all scream for Ice Cream! We’re taking the bus down the street for some ice cream! Get the Scoop is about 5 minutes from us, so if you don't like bus trips because of a longer ride this is the perfect one for you! Plan on bringing about 6 dollars with. It should be less than that but it depends on how much ice cream you get! Farm Fresh : We will be having a healthy treat straight from the farm. It might be a vegetable or it might be a fruit, you’ll have to come to find out! Family Recipes : We are looking for favorite family recipes to add to our menu! If you have favorite please get the recipe to our Dietary Manager, Barb. She will add it to the menu and if all goes well the next time it’s on the menu she’ll add your name! We’ve al- ready had David’s Meatloaf and Karla’s butternut Squash Soup! Bites with Barb : Our dietary manager Barb needs your help! On the third Thursday of the month Barb will be whipping up some new recipes for us to sample. If they get a good response she will be adding it to the menu.
