20th ANNIVERSARY MID JERSEY CHAPTER

APRIL 13, 2008

The Mid Jersey Chapter is excited to announce that beginning October 1, 2008, the Mid Jersey and the Greater North Jersey Chapters will merge and become the Metro New Jersey Chapter. Michael Elkow, current President of the Mid Jersey Chapter, will carry on his duties as President of the Metro New Jersey Chapter. This move will make us one of the largest organizations within the entire society. Our goals will be to: provide additional program opportunities, improve efficiencies, raise more money and increase research commitment. We will do this with both offices remaining open, joining boards and working on the strengths of all staff. The date is set for Walk MS in 2009 and so is the Metro New Jersey Chapter! We will have 15 walk sites, double the participants and volunteers, double the fun and double the money raised to create a world free of multiple sclerosis! Join us Sunday, April 19, 2009.
