WATER STATIONS

In line with Waldorf Astoria’s initiative to reduce plastic consumption, plastic

bottles will be replaced with water stations offering guests a variety of chilled

water flavoured with fresh fruits and vegetables, served from sustainable

glass containers into reusable and eco-friendly cups. The initiative will be fully

operational by the end of 2019 and will look to reduce the hotels plastic waste

by up to 5 tons annually.

PAPER STRAWS

Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah has made it a point to reduce the use of

plastic and have already replaced the plastic straws with paper ones in all

restaurants in the resort. The guests really love the idea and appreciate Hilton

as a company to have taken such steps in preserving the environment.

ORGANIC VEGETABLE GARDEN

Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is also home to an organic vegetable garden

where our culinary team cultivates various herbs and vegetables used in

dishes that we serve to our guests. Children staying with their families at the
