–SERIFS• Serifs are the small lines

tailing from the edges of letters and symbols.

• Serif fonts are easier to read in printed works.

• Serif fonts are easier to read on screen.

–SANS SERIF• San serif is a typeface

that does not have the small projection like features called ‘serifs’ at the end of strokes.

• Sans serif fonts are easier to read on web.

• Sans serif fonts are unreadable in print.
