Studies, the Development of social cognition and decision-making during

human adolescence.

Page 3: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

In Her Speech “The mysterious workings of the adolescent brain”

Sarah Shows how The brain keeps changing throughout adolescence.

Page 4: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

Sarah Captures the attention of her audience by showing various different ways they can monitor how the human brain

works.

Page 5: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

As the speech continues Sarah maintains the Attention of her audience giving examples of how and why the

adolescent brain works the way it does.

4/5 I think Sarah Did a wonderful job keeping the attention of her audience, She had an understandable tone of voice and spoke

with passion.

Page 7: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

To improve her dynamism she could have had more

funny, memorable moments in her presentation.

Page 8: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

Although the speech was not customized for the audience and there where not many slides with humorous punctuation the

audience definitely felt smarter afterwards.

Page 9: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

I have learned how a fluid, well thought out presentation works, and how much having passion and knowledge of what you are

talking about can help.

Page 10: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

Compared to Sarah, Sir Ken Robinson engages with the

audience, Having more humor in his presentation.

Page 11: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

He also covers a wide area of topics in his

speech, tying all the points with humor

and finishing strong making the audience

understand how urgent the theme really is.

Page 12: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

Sir Ken Robinson Shows urgency in his presentation, while Sarah Has

a more laid back posture since her topic is not about trying to change

how we educate, but to educate about the adolescent brain.

Page 13: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

Although These presentations have different purpose, they both

talk about a similar topic, how kids are being educated, and

how their brains work.

Page 14: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

I think both presentations teach us a lot about different aspects of the human brain and how we act, and also how to keep an audience entertained and how to send a message to the best of our abilities

Page 15: Serrano Manolo PS_Week 02

To my Classmates, I would suggest getting to truly know their presentations and speaking with enthusiasm and passion will help. Also injecting the presentation with fun facts and humor

will keep the audience’s attention
