Reminders:

• Parents and Troop Co-Leaders should create a Doubleknot Account in the Adult’s name, not the girls

• Camp Volunteers should speak with Camp Directors before registering themselves and their campers in order to receive their camp discounts

• Health Form information is completed during the online camp registration process for girls & adults

• System does not save registration information in the cart• System does not save unregistered camper’s health information once logged out• System holds info for 45 mins and then the system will logout user if there is no activity• System is not currently setup to accept the cookie sale gift certificates online, but has this

capacity - staff are working to implement this option

Cookie Incentives Update

• Incentives calculated on Troop participation at the end of the Cookie Sale• Winners will be shared in the GS Connection and will share complete list with SU Teams • Product Sale Dept. reached out to troops not participating in the sale, who had obvious

roster issues• Please encourage your leaders to send in their questions or concerns about their rosters to

info@gsvsc.org as soon as possible

Brenda Sinclair has joined our GSVSC Finance Department

• Processes the GS Bank account Application info@ cases

• Provides new and updated Bank Resolutions

• Provides assistance with bank accounts for troops disbanding

Marketplace Competition - Boy Scouts

• Solidarity is going to be critical

• We're learning that Executive Directors of Boy Scouts councils are eventually being held to goals

and expectations around recruiting girls.

• A confirmed tactic is to funnel funds raised by girls in both organizations from Girl Scout cookie

sales to cover Boy Scout membership fees and potentially for other Boy Scouts related purposes.

This will NOT be allowed.

• Additionally, Boy Scouts are taking advantage of the term 'Scouting' and have been found to be

persisting the notion that we may not be present or available at schools.

• Please be sure any use of the term 'Scouting' now references 'Girl Scouting'.

• For example: "Yours in Girl Scouting".

• Council leadership will be focusing on personal visits with school superintendents around the

council to emphasize this point and clarify our stance.
