If you have a School ResearchSupport Officer they will oftenassist in liaising with ResearchServices on post-awardfinances for you – check withyour School research orfinance teams.

KIE will process theannouncement, and managefinance, if the project fundingis classified as 'enterprisefunding'.

Media trainingThe Press Office organises regular tailor-made trainingworkshops for academic members of staff wishing todevelop their media skills. The half-day or full daycourses, which are run as part of the Staff DevelopmentProgramme, take place at the University and includesessions on what makes news and what the media wantfrom a story, as well as offering practical training in print,radio and TV interviews.
