Choose from the following to find a program:

Program Guide – Click on the e-version of the program guide and select front cover for the section you wish to review .Program Listing – Click on Programs from the menu and search based on age group/category .Program Advanced Search – Click on Programs from the menu and choose search from the drop down list to search based on:

• day of week• start time• program type• location• age

To register online, you will need:• Login ID• Account PIN Number

Have a Membership or Have Taken a Program Before?

You have already been assigned a Login ID & PIN number . These will be emailed to the address attached to your current account by Feb 4th

Click Forgot Password, enter your email address and receive login information for everyone on the account .

Visit www .stalbert .ca/online-services, click on Program Registration, and then click on Create New at the top right-hand corner of the page . Or you can click on this direct link .

Transfers/Withdrawals

In the event that you must withdraw or change your program registration (at least one week prior to the program start date), you can do one of the following:

• Transfer immediately into one of our many available programs with no administration charge (subject to program availability) .

• Request a full refund minus a $5 administration fee .

All refunds and transfers within 7 days of the start date or after the program begins must be approved by a programmer and will only be done for extenuating circumstances .

Please contact Guest and Member Services with all cancellation inquiries .

CancellationsPrograms may be cancelled due to low enrollment . In the event that a registered program is cancelled you will be notified, by phone, at least three (3) days prior to the start date . During these circumstances a full refund will be provided or you may transfer immediately into one of our available programs (subject to program availability) .

Waiting lists are available for all of our classes; you will be contacted if a spot becomes available .

Can I register after the program has started?

We will strive to accommodate your request, please contact Guest Services at 780 .418 .6088 .

Can my child participate if they have special needs?

Parents of children with special needs are encouraged to call our programming staff at 780 .418 .6088 to discuss participation opportunities . Please let us know at the time of registration if your child has any special needs or health concerns .

Can I make up a missed class?

We are not able to offer any make-up classes .

Come with your tot to this learn through play program . Enjoy leader-coordinated activities, songs, nursery rhymes, games and crafts as well as time to play with the toys in the gym . Parents must stay with the child and participate in the program .

Is your little one just waiting to go to ‘school’ like their older siblings or friends? Register them in this program and give them that first ‘Playschool’ experience . Bite-Sized ScienceAges 3 - 6

A fun way to get your preschooler discovering the wonders of the natural world! They will enjoy short, ‘bite-sized’, fun, science activities each class (they may even get to sample their treats!) and learn to become little scientists . The children will also spend some time playing wide games in and outside to burn off some of that extra energy .

The Servus Place Recreation team is offering a diverse slate of preschool opportunities at Servus Place and in Community Clubhouses for spring 2013 . Our programs are designed to provide activities that are both fun and recreational for toddlers and preschool children . Fun and socialization is the name of the game with a variety of programs to suit specific ages and interests . The programs are divided by ages, stages and themes, parent and babies, tots, pre–preschool, active, cooking, science and playschool . You will be sure to find something that suits your child!

Please note that children must be potty trained (independent in the bathroom) in order to participate in an un-parented preschool program .

All programs are located at Servus Credit Union Place unless otherwise noted .

Coffee & Crayons - ParentedAges 18 months - 3 years

Come play and socialize with your child and fellow parents with children while participating in leader-coordinated crafts, songs, games and activities . Parent will participate and help their children, but will also enjoy time socializing and meeting other parents in the community . A parent participation class .

Do you have an itty bitty palaeontologist? We will be adventuring back in time to meet and discover dinosaurs in this program: meat eaters, plant eaters, long necks and their relatives . Bring your safari hat, your digging tools and your imagination as we discover dinosaurs while also taking time to burn off that extra energy .

Bark in dog pose, hiss in the cobra, and meow in cat stretch . This well-rounded yoga class focuses on the physical self, including body awareness and fullness of breath . The emotional self, including compassion for others and self-confidence, is explored through storytelling, creative movement and simple discussions about life . Little ones are encouraged to be energetic as well as still and quiet . Yoga is about balance … what better time to learn about it but when a child is young!

Active Kids Preschool Ages 3 - 4 and 4 - 5

A preschool that meets the needs of your little one with an unending amount of energy! We will spend a minimum of 1/3 of the class in the gym participating in active games and sports . The rest of the time will be spent following daily themes that will expose your child to new learning experiences through songs, music, stories, crafts and more . This preschool program is an active way to prepare your child for kindergarten . Please send your child in play clothes and indoor running shoes, more details to follow the first day of class .

We recommend registering yoru child in the same level for the whole year.

All Active Kids programs are located at Servus Place.

Registration is currently open for all program seasons.

Join one of our community preschool programs this year . Doodles is a perfect program for a first pre-school experience . Play and Learn will be the second step in preparing your child for kindergarten .

We recommend registering your child in the same program for the whole year.

Doodles Ages 3 - 4

Is your preschooler ready to learn and play in a fun and loving environment? Following weekly themes, children use their imagination through games, songs, stories and crafts in a softly structured class .

Accidental Scientists Ages 9 - 12

It’s alive! Children will get the opportunity to conduct a number of science experiments in the kitchen . Activities will involve designing, building and experimenting with innovative hands-on projects in a fun atmosphere . It’s a messy job, but somebody’s got to do it!

School’s out for Spring Break . . . If your child wants or needs something to do, they can participate in these multi–activity programs to fill in that gap when school is out . Games, sports, crafts and activities will be planned throughout the day to entertain and keep your child happy and active .

Children should bring:• indoor shoes• a water bottle• appropriate clothing as required .

*Please note that children may be participating in messy, hands on activities throughout the day.

Children should be comfortable carrying their own belongings . Please send your child with a morning and afternoon snack (as well as one for post camp if applicable) and lunch . The children may not carry money to purchase their snacks and lunches as it is distracting to the program and eating venues are not always available for purchases .

Early drop off and late pick is available for an additional $5 .00 per day . Children can be dropped off as early as 8 am and picked up until 5 pm . During this additional time, programming will not occur however activities will be provided for the children to participate in . Please register for this service at time of program registration .

Adventure Activists Ages 6 - 9

A full day program full of activities to help your child discover science and the natural world around us . Learning to appreciate their surroundings early on will deepen their understanding of the environment we all share . We will also spend time playing games, and doing other fun things at Servus Place .

Chefs in the Makin’ Ages 6 - 9

Make what you eat and eat what you make . Work with our staff in the Sobeys active living kitchen to prepare some basic, healthy snacks and food options all the while learning food safety and proper food handling . The other part of the day we will wear off some of that extra energy playing games around Servus Place and at nearby parks .

Creative Pursuits!Ages 9 - 12

Let’s get together to do all the messy crafty things that parents don’t want us to do at home . Mud, bubbles, paint, and fimo will be some of the mediums used in this program . The class will also include play in the gym and other activities throughout Servus Place . Please remember to wear clothes that can get messy .
