Board of Management
Seshadripuram Educational Trust, a public charitable trust, was
established in the year 1980 by Seshadripuram Educational Association.
The parents body Seshadripuram Educational Association was registered
in pre‐independent India in the year 1944. In 1930, the Seshadripuram
group of lady educational enthusiasts, Smt. Anandamma and Smt.
Seethamma who started a primary School with about 20 children in the
existing Campus of Seshadripuram in just two Mangalore tiled rooms.
The institution has grown to its present status with the help of many
philanthropists and educational enthusiasts. Today the total student
strength of the institution has grown to a mammoth 22,000. The trust
runs educational institutions from kindergarten to PhD courses ably
supported by nearly 1500+ employees. Today a child entering institution’s
nursery school can complete and proudly obtain a degree in B.A., BCA,
B.Sc, B.Com., BBA, M.Com, LLB. MBA, and M.A. in English or Kannada
with a strong foundation to face the challenges of their career.
Though the institution is well known for its contribution in general
education the Trust’s special emphasis lies on education in commerce.
The Pre‐University Colleges of SET are reputed for high quality of
education. The institution is proud that nearly 800 students graduating
from Pre‐University Courses join engineering and about 80 join medical
course each year. The motto of the Trust has all along been “the largest
good of the largest numbers”.
Seshadripuram Educational Trust today is rated to be among the best
educational institutions in India.

Feedback From
StudentsIt's my privilege to be a student in this esteemed college where a student is given all
opportunities to develop herself and is not bound only to academic importance. I've
gained strength in developing various skills after joining this college and I'm proud of
myself to have positively changed due to the binding forces.
Seshadripuram Academy of Business Studies encourages every student to improve their
skills in curricular and co-curricular activities. The college also supports the students to
participate in various events which helps a student to build the humanitarian values.
Our college infrastructure is very good. Our principal and faculties are very supportive.
Our college encourages sports and cultural events along with academics. Many sports
students represented in international level , coming to academic we have university
rank.We have very good placements in our college .
It's an honour for me to be the student of this college . Instead of telling that I've
imbibed various qualities after joining the college , I could happily state that I've learnt
various aspects from every lecturer of this college. This college has given me a good
exposure towards the outer world.
I feel proud to be the student of SABS college. The college has provided me a good
learning environment with supportive and encouraging faculties. One can utilise all the
facilities of the college and get practically exposed. The college not only encourages
academics but also encourages co-curricular activities including sports. It provides a
good platform to exhibit our talents and get good recognition.
