”, I acknowledge the selfless efforts of every individual who have supported us on our path of achievement towards success. Revelling in its fourteenth year of success, Seshadripuram Academy of Business Studies is well known in its vicinity. With its keen emphasis on both curricular and extra-curricular activities, the institution under the umbrella of Seshadripuram Educational Trust, has created a niche for itself. The staff and students have persevered for this bastion to enjoy its accolades today.
As a responsible Higher Educational Institution, SABS is all set to appear for NAAC accreditation. The courses of B. Com, BCA and BBA are supplemented with other value additions like CA/CPT course, Tally Course, Aviation Course, SAP and many others. While strengthening our students academically, we also intend to make them socially responsible. The institution, now has ASMITHE, a Community Oriented Forum, christened after the two lady founders of the Trust, Smt. Anandamma and Smt. Seethamma− the main focus of which is the betterment of the community. Various activities of the cell are carried through the forum, for the betterment of the community. In addition to the other activities of various committees in the college, Asmithe has rooted itself for a noble cause.
With the notion of 'service to mankind is service to God', SABS has adopted a Government School at Sulikere. The College took the initiative of constructing an additional rest room for the girls of this school. The staff and students of the college have made a generous contribution to support this noble endeavour. The institution has also adopted a few other schools in association with various NGOs. Breast Cancer Awareness, Free eye check-up, e awareness camp have been some of the other programmes conducted in the locality. The institution exults with happiness in proclaiming to have conducted awareness on blood donation and also collected blood in the Blood Donation Camp organised by the NSS. With various activities throughout the year, academics has never taken a back seat. Our students have secured very good results in Bangalore University exams, securing 100% marks in various subjects. Our students have also won national and international awards in various sports. In a nut shell the institution spares no efforts to make our students socially responsible citizens.
As Napoleon Hill rightly quotes, “Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)Quality is the buzz word today, for any Higher Education Institution to compete globally. The institution being in its process of
applying for NAAC has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) that constantly strives towards maintaining quality in every
activity carried out at the institution.
Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC is a part of the institution's system and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institution.
The IQAC plays an importantly implicit role in all the activities of the institution, be it in administration or academics. The IQAC mandates innovative methods to be implemented in teaching to equip our students to become globally competent. Innovative methods such as experiential learning , peer learning, collaborative learning are adopted in teaching methodology to support participative learning strategies for students. It also promotes research culture among students with an equal emphasis on other co-curricular activities. The IQAC ensures that the campus is student friendly, and spares no efforts to promote quality consciousness among students. It strives to create a memorable journey for the students through their stay at the campus, extending support to students to bring out the best in them.
In all the IQAC ensures sustenance of quality

Seshadripuram Educational Trust, a public charitable trust, was
established in the year 1980 by Seshadripuram Educational Association.
The parents body Seshadripuram Educational Association was registered
in pre‐independent India in the year 1944. In 1930, the Seshadripuram
group of lady educational enthusiasts, Smt. Anandamma and Smt.
Seethamma who started a primary School with about 20 children in the
existing Campus of Seshadripuram in just two Mangalore tiled rooms.
The institution has grown to its present status with the help of many
philanthropists and educational enthusiasts. Today the total student
strength of the institution has grown to a mammoth 20,000. The trust
runs educational institutions from kindergarten to PhD courses ably
supported by nearly 1000+ employees. Today a child entering
institution’s nursery school can complete and proudly obtain a degree in
B.A., BCA, B.Sc, B.Com., BBA, M.Com, LLB. MBA, and M.A. in English or
Kannada with a strong foundation to face the challenges of their career.
Though the institution is well known for its contribution in general
education the Trust’s special emphasis lies on education in commerce.
The Pre‐University Colleges of SET are reputed for high quality of
education. The institution is proud that nearly 800 students graduating
from Pre‐University Courses join engineering and about 80 join medical
course each year. The motto of the Trust has all along been “the largest
good of the largest numbers”.
Seshadripuram Educational Trust today is rated to be among the best
educational institutions in India.

Our College 'SABS” has a very good campus and gives a good environment to study. B.C.A Department as well as other Departments conduct various seminars which help us to learn about many new topics and gain knowledge. The facules of B.C.A Department teach us well and guide us in future studies also. I feel very happy and privileged to study in this college.
