The Greek word for repentance is
“metanoia,” which literally means
a change of mind.
Repentance is not just a simple confession but a change in direction.
Repentance means turning away from sin.
Repentance depends on an objective decision to accept only God’s righteousness into one’s
life and reject anything not compatible with this.
To repent, we need to admit that we have sin in our lives.
Exercise humility
Renounce sin
Ask for God’s forgiveness
Receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation
There are specific sins we need to renounce.

Repentance only becomes complete after totally turning
away from evil and accepting Jesus as Lord.
Faith is belief in the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock;
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,I will come in to him
and will dine with him, and he with Me.
Revelations 3:20
Faith is not just a feeling. We acceptGod’s word no matter how we feel.
Faith is not just wishful thinking.
Faith is not a blind leap.
Faith is accepting the new life God promised us.
Believe in the Lord Jesus and you willbe saved, you and your household.Acts 16:31
