MAY CROWNING: Seton’s annual May Crowning to honor the Blessed Mother will be Monday, May 14, at All Saints. Each student should bring flowers to place in the baskets be-fore the altar. Please, students should arrive at All Saints by 8:20 so that they can line up for the proces-sion into the church.

After the 8:30 Mass and novena, the students will process to the Blessed Mother statue in the Courtyard for the coronation and the Rosary. We will then re-turn to school, where the schedule will pick up at that point (about the end of first period). DAUGHTER OF THE KING, SAT MAY 19 The last day to register is Tuesday, May 15th. It’s

going to be a great day, invite your friends & have a great day! Parents, please come to the talk and fashion show! This is

also an option for girls who can’t be there during the day. Keynote talk at 6:15; entertainment and fashion show at 7pm. Donations for the Tim Tebow Foundation will be accepted at the door. Please bring you dress donations to the JH office this week

Play Festival

May 18th, 2018 • The Seton Main Stage • 7 PM

The Arts are alive at Seton! You don’t want to miss this spectacular gala event where the talented artists, writers and performers at Seton School are recognized for excellence in their craft. Featuring live performances from Seton’s best singers, the Seton Improv Troupe, Senior Art displays, and a special presentation of the win-ning student written and directed short plays - it’s a night of cele-bration of the best our school has to offer.

At 7:00, laugh, cry, and be moved by four short and profound plays written and directed by Seton students.

At 7:30, stay for the main awards presentation and cheer on your friends and fellow students.

GET INVOLVED!

The Seton Parents Resource Organization (PRO) wants your help! The PRO Board has several posi-tions that will be vacated at the end of this school year, and Seton needs some new folks to be a part of the PRO Board. The PRO Board is instrumental in guiding the Parents Resource Organization and many of the vital volunteer needs throughout the school year. Any active Seton parent can apply, and we would love to have some new folks on the PRO Board. HIGH SCHOOL SEAPERCH NEXT YEAR!

Mr. Hoffman is planning to have his 2018-2019 Engineer-

ing Class support Seton's High School SeaPerch Teams

with 3-D printed parts. Standard commitment is about 1

meeting per week (Oct - March). The development of the

design could be a Science Fair Project. Great activity for

OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE SETON COMMUNITY The Seton Chamber Choir Presents the St. Cecilia Benefit Concert on Sat, May 26th at 7PM in the Corpus Christi Building at Seton School. Featuring Carlos “Chuckie” Ibay and Mark Brandt, Elizabeth Foeckler, Ken Hall, Carolyn Karcher and the Seton Chorus and Chamber Choir. Please see the flyer for all the information.

Mercy & Mary Retreat on August 24 & 25, 2018 at Holy Trinity Parish - Gainesville, VA. Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, will be leading a Mercy & Mary Retreat unpacking the secrets of this Time of Mercy. Register here! Fr. Gaitley is a renowned, dynamic, speaker. Jesus, We Trust in You, The Marian Missionaries of Divine Mercy.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES MICHAEL JOSEPH PENNEFATHER SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for one year’s free tuition at Seton, to be awarded to a student (current or incoming) who is carrying a cross with joy and devotion to his or her Catholic Faith, in the spirit of Michael Joseph Pennefather. Nomination letters should be mailed to [email protected] by May 24. WARREN H. CARROLL SCHOLARSHIP: A $500 scholarship in honor of Dr. Carroll to a Seton graduate who is cur-rently attending or will attend Christendom in the fall. Click here for the application. COLONEL P.
