The Process
Process followed
● Faculty makes a novel invention and is
interested in protecting it through a patent
● Invention disclosure form ( IDF) is sent to faculty
by IPR cell
● A thorough due-diligence and market analysis is
performed on the IDF and a report is generated
Process followed ● Awaiting approval for filing

■ provisional application filled after execution of patent -
assignment agreement
● commercial due-diligence and tech transfer attempt
initiated from IPR cell keeping investagtor in the
loop
● drafting , filing and prosecution of patent
applications (India, elsewhere PCT)
