CENTRAL HENDERSON AND NORTHEASTERN NAVARRO COUNTIES...

At 847 PM CDT, Doppler Radar indicated that the earlier heavy .

rainfall had moved to the east of the area. However, Radar estimates

that localized pockets of 4 inches of rainfall fell near the town of

Eustace. This rainfall will continue to lead to excessive water

runoff and cause flash flooding. Low-lying areas are most vulnerable

to rapidly rising water. Some low-water crossings may flood and

become impassable.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...

Gun Barrel City, Mabank, Malakoff, Tool, Kerens, Seven Points,

Eustace, Trinidad, Enchanted Oaks, Caney City, Payne Springs, Log

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR


At 850 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that earlier thunderstorms

have moved east of the warned area. However, Doppler radar indicates

that pockets of 4 inches of rainfall fell from near Canton to

Edgewood. This rainfall will continue to lead to excessive water

runoff and cause flash flooding. Low-lying areas are most vulnerable

to rapidly rising water. Some low-water crossings may flood and

become impassable.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...


Fruitvale, Purtis Creek State Park, Lake Tawakoni State Park and

Point.


Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

deaths occur in vehicles.
