2. Weather Map Stalled front over South Florida in combination with low pressure over Gulf providing moisture and focus for potential heavy rains and severe thunderstorms today. 3. Flood Watch Until 7 PM 4. 3-5 in yellow/red. 5-7 in white and purple 5. Atmospheric Moisture Pointed At Florida 6. Radar Loop 7. Moderate Flood Potential: Water entering structures possible 8. Wind gusts 40-60 mph and isolated tornadoes possible primarily Collier/Broward/Miami-Dade/Mainland Monroe through 7 PM 9. Impacts

  • Significant floodingof roads possible all of South Florida today. Isolated areas could see rain in excess of 5 inches, leading towater possibly entering structures .
  • Strong/severe thunderstormswithdamagingwind gusts 40-60 mph and isolated tornadoes possible Naples-Broward south.

10. Midnight Tonight Front east of area, rain ending overnight 11. Weekend Outlook

  • Dry and cooler weather expected Saturday and Sunday.
  • Highs in the 70s. Lows in the 50s.
