SAN FRANCISCO FOR PEACE 2016-2026

in PIAZZA SAINT FRANCIS, THE POETS PLAZA

An International Gathering of Peacemakers

for Dialogue, Debate & Decision Sponsored by the Knights of Saint Francis of Assisi

Who is it about?

An Interfaith and interdisciplinary meeting and gathering of International, National and Local Peacemakers across the sectors of Faith, Science, Arts, Government, Universities, Research, Medicine, Entertainment etc…

What will happen? The program will involve seven meetings in seven "Piazzas” (atria) at different locations around the City of Saint Francis. Each general topic will comprise a number of questions to be presented, discussed and debated. We propose a new global conversation to World Peace using the Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi—

Lord Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace The Seven Meetings are designed to thematically reflect this Prayer of San Francisco’s Patron. The four days will include Dialogue Plenary Sessions with opportunities for break out dyads, triads and small groups with the intentionality of creating a conversation between all people, including believers from World Religions and non-believers in Secular Institutions, on areas on mutual concern focused on the common good.
